About me
Hi! I’m Antonia—a human, a writer, an artist, a teacher, a student and a "Great Life Experimenter" based in Bucharest, Romania.
My artistic journey didn’t begin in a traditional studio, but through my own rise from the ashes on July 15th, 2019—a day that marks my rebirth. Creation is what saved my life, offering me an intuitive way to heal the void left by the loss of my daughter and to process my own near-death experience. For me, creativity is more than expression; it is my guide in alchemizing pain and my way of rediscovering beauty within life’s profound imperfections.
Today, my personal healing journey informs my professional path. I am an Art Therapist, a Psychology student, and a therapist-in-training in the Somatic Experiencing® method.Through my classes, I translate the complexities of the human psyche into creative practices, using art and somatic awareness as powerful tools for reclaiming your sense of self.
As a writer, I dive every week into the complexities of the human psyche and the systems that shape us through my Substack publication, In the Dark. My work is centred on the belief that creative expression and somatic awareness are powerful tools for reclaiming one’s sense of self.
My Classes & My Sessions
My classes are designed as a safe harbour for exploration, where drawing becomes a bridge between the mind and the body. I offer classes and sessions focused on:
> Therapeutic & Intuitive Drawing: Techniques to release emotions through line and color, free from the pressure of the final result.
> Somatic Art Practices: Exercises that combine mark-making with physical presence to process stress and tension.
> Creative Journaling for Self-Discovery: Using art as an internal dialogue to navigate life’s transitions and systems.
You can expect:
-> Vulnerability & Authenticity: We don’t aim for "perfection" here; we aim for personal truth.
-> A Holistic Approach: A unique blend of psychological concepts, somatic insights, and the creative process.
-> Practical Tools: You will walk away with techniques you can use in your daily life to regulate your emotional state.
-> A Supportive Space: An environment where you are free to experiment and "fail" on your way to rediscovering yourself.
Are you ready to transform your shadows into light through drawing? I’ll see you in class!
