About me
Dr. Ang Yee Gary is a multidisciplinary public health physician and educator working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and policy. Trained in medicine, public health, and business—with further specializations in family medicine, mental health, and dermatology—he brings a uniquely integrative lens to health systems innovation.
Currently, he serves within Singapore’s National Healthcare Group (NHG) as a Health Services Researcher, Clinical AI Advisor, Workplace Health Consultant, and Family Physician. He also coordinates and lectures in the Master of Health Economics, Management & Policy at Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education.
Dr. Ang’s work focuses on guiding ethical and equitable adoption of AI in healthcare, improving population health outcomes, and cultivating human-centered systems thinking. Whether through data, policy, or patient care, his mission is simple: to help health systems think clearly, care deeply, and evolve responsibly.
Outside of medicine, he is a certified bridge teacher and Life Master with the American Contract Bridge League—where he continues to enjoy strategic play and lifelong learning.
