I am Dr. Anastasius Moumtzoglou, a healthcare quality management expert with over 40 years of experience in the field. I am a former President of the Hellenic Society for Quality and Safety in HealthCare (HSQSH) and a former Executive Board Member of the European Society for Quality in HealthCare (ESQH).

My career spans over 40 years at the P. and A. Kyriakou Children's Hospital in Greece. I also teach quality management at both the graduate and postgraduate levels, sharing my knowledge with the next generation of healthcare leaders.

I have served as scientific coordinator and researcher in both Greek and European research programs. I am also the author of three Greek books that have become reference texts in the field.

In 2004, I was declared "Person of Quality in Healthcare" in Greece, a recognition of my contributions to advancing healthcare quality in the country.

For over 18 years, I have been working to demystify the interaction between two scientific knowledge domains: healthcare quality theory and e-health. This work has helped build a new scientific discipline that integrates these fields, providing fresh insights and practical applications for healthcare professionals worldwide.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that healthcare quality is not just a set of tools or frameworks but a mindset. My goal is to help healthcare professionals at all levels understand and apply quality principles in their daily work, ultimately improving patient outcomes and transforming healthcare delivery.

I created my Udemy course, "Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Excellence," to share these principles with a global audience of healthcare professionals. My goal is to equip learners with the frameworks and practical skills they need to drive meaningful change in their organizations.
