Alin Panaite

Professional Photographer, Photography Educator & Founder of Avatar Photography School

I'm Alin Panaite, a professional photographer and photography educator with over 20 years of experience behind the camera and more than 14 years of teaching photography, Adobe Lightroom, and Photoshop.

I'm the founder of Avatar Photography School in Constanța, Romania, where we've been offering officially accredited photography courses since 2013. Over the years, I've helped more than 800 students develop their technical skills, creative vision, and confidence behind the camera.

I've also organized and taught numerous photography workshops, covering portrait, studio, wedding, and creative photography, sharing practical knowledge with photographers of different experience levels.

Beyond teaching, I'm the founder of Avatar Studio and the editor of Avatar Photo Magazine, projects that reflect my passion for photography, visual storytelling, and education.

My teaching philosophy is simple: knowing how to do something is not the same as knowing how to teach it.

After years of working with photographers and students, I've learned where people struggle, which mistakes they make most often, and which techniques can make the biggest difference in their work.

That's why my courses go beyond explaining camera settings or software tools. I focus on practical demonstrations, real-world examples, common mistakes, and the reasoning behind every creative decision.

I believe that great photography comes from understanding light, developing your own vision, and learning to make deliberate choices — both behind the camera and during post-processing.

My goal is not simply to show you how I create my images, but to help you understand the process so you can confidently create your own.
