My entrepreneurial journey started after I found GrowthClub, my marketing agency, a number of years ago. During that period,I used to head growth at Ecommerce Platforms, which is one of the biggest ecommerce publication focused on ecommerce business owners, and then Unblock, which is a blockchain tech publication.
And after I founded my own agency, I had the same issue that many of you may have faced or are facing right now-
Lack of new business. Lack of leads and sales. My forte was content marketing and SEO, because I started my career in SEO and content marketing back in 2012. And I knew jack-shit about lead gen or social media marketing. So if I was attending this same webinar when I founded my agency, I would vote on the polls in zoom that I don't generate enough leads to support my growth goals.
And that’s when I started sort of documenting my journey of building my agency on LInkedIn with LinkedIn content. We slowly started generating a couple thousand views every week from my content, some inbound leads from people who saw that content, and I started running growth experiments to figure out how I could grow faster on LinkedIn.
Fast forward to today, 2023, all I do is LinkedIn everyday. We've niched down from a generic content marketing agency to focus on LinkedIn alone. Those couple thousand views every week have grown to well over a 100MN views on LinkedIn with zero dollars in ad-spend.
We now have well over 500 experiments we’ve run internally to understand what works and what doesn’t on LinkedIn for branding and positioning, content and outreach.
Those couple clients I was landing from LinkedIn at the start have changed to a couple Million in inbound business with all our businesses yearly, and I co-found or run multiple companies now.
