I am a university professor and researcher with more than 12 years of experience teaching computer science and technology in Brazil and the United States.
I hold bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Computing, with graduate degrees from LNCC and the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. Throughout my academic career, I have taught and developed courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Computer Graphics, and Game Development.
My research focuses especially on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and applied Artificial Intelligence. I have also worked on research and development projects with technology companies, bringing together academic knowledge and real-world problem solving.
As an instructor, my goal is to make complex technical concepts understandable and practical. I believe students learn best by combining clear explanations with hands-on experimentation, real code, and meaningful projects.
My courses are designed to help you understand not only how to use modern tools and frameworks, but also why they work and how to apply them confidently to real problems.
If you enjoy learning by building, experimenting, and understanding what happens behind the code, I look forward to having you in one of my courses.
