Section 1: Promo - Introduction

Section 2: iZotope Ozone 7

Ozone 7 is a great update to Ozone 6. Here, we go through many of the new features available to us.

By being able to hear what a WAV to MP3 conversion sounds like prior to rendering is a great Ozone 7 feature. The Codec Preview option allows us to do just that.

Everyone loves the sound of analog tape. The Vintage Tape module allows us to recreate that warm sound.

Being able to adjust the sound of our files using EQ and Compression allows us to enhance our audio.

To get a full, loud sounding mastered audio file without clipping or distorting is a useful feature that is a breeze with Ozone 7.

Section 3: iZotope RX5

Here, we look at using iZotope's RX5. It is a sound restoration and manipulation application that can rescue poorly recorded audio.

We look here at utilising the many different selection tools available to us so that we can focus in on specific audio 'problems' without affecting other frequencies.

Building on repairing audio, we look at the Spectral Repair module here.

Often times, when we record audio under poor conditions, we can introduce an earthing hum. The DeHum module allows us to easily focus in on the specific hum frequency and remove it completely.

Another new feature to Ozone 7 is looked at here - the Instant Process feature.

Tiny clicks can often ruin an otherwise great audio file. Using the RX5 DeClicker, we can remove as many as we like without any sonic problems.

Here, we walk through a typical workflow and utilise a number of different modules.

For convenience, a new feature has been added to RX5 that allows us to perform repetitive tasks automatically. This is done by using the Chainfunction.
