Yuri Charyguine is a professional musician, accordionist, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator with over 20 years of experience. He has performed across more than 20 countries, including Russia, India, Italy, Canada, and Australia, and is skilled in a variety of styles such as jazz, folk, and classical.

With over 800 educational videos and 3,000,000+ views on YouTube, Yuri has built a strong online presence with 6,000+ subscribers. His passion for teaching has inspired a large and dedicated following.

Yuri began his accordion studies at age six, graduating with top honors from Music School. He later earned advanced performance and teaching qualifications from Music College, followed by further studies in performance and conducting at the Moscow University of Culture and Arts.

In 2010-2011, Yuri attended master classes in Castelfidardo, Italy, with renowned American jazz accordionist Frank Marocco. He also holds a degree in Composition from the University of Malta.

Since 1999, Yuri has made Malta his home, where he continues to teach and perform, as well as enjoying nature, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, and relaxing on the island of Gozo.
