"솔직히 고백하자면, 17년 동안 현장에서 콧대 높은 기계들을 다루는 것보다 강의 하나를 준비하는 게 훨씬 더 진땀 나는 일이더군요. 기계는 답이라도 정해져 있는데, 강의는 매뉴얼이 없으니까요.

그럼에도 끝까지 붙들고 늘어진 이유는 딱 하나입니다. 제가 신입 시절 '맨땅에 헤딩'하며 겪었던 그 막막함을 후배님들만큼은 겪지 않았으면 하는 오지랖 때문이었습니다.
