YAC is a youth-led organization that started as a grassroot movement in 2018. YAC strongly believes in the power of youth, social innovation and entrepreneurship in finding efficient solutions to our world’s biggest challenges, and in advancing the 2030 agenda. Corruption being one of the major impediments to development, we are dedicated to leverage all our experience, talents, and know-how to design more innovative and efficient solutions to control and prevent it.
Our Mission: is to leverage youth talents, social innovation, and social entrepreneurship in the fight against corruption.
Our Vision: is to create a global movement of youth who dare to break the corruption chain locally and globally.
YAC has three main programs:
1- YACademy: a program that focuses on building capacity and raising awareness around anti-corruption in creative methods through online and offline sessions, workshops, and courses that use design thinking methodologies and digital tools to make the learning experience as enriching and engaging as possible.
2- YACcelerator: a program that focuses on creating innovative, more efficient, and out of the box anti-corruption projects through organizing national and regional hackathons to come up with solutions to control and prevent corruption in both the private and public sector.
3- YACtivism: as YAC is a grassroot organization always seeking to improve and grow its community, this program focuses on bringing the community together and mobilizing its talents and collective intelligence in the fight against corruption. For example: two of our songs, “Rise Again” and “Min Alb El Hay”, that were meant to raise awareness against corruption and its devastating impact received international awards of recognition.
