My name is Whitney Kovarik and I am a third year OTD student at Drake University. I am creating my Udemy course as a dissemination of my Doctoral Capstone Project, Advanced Clinical Practice and Research in Acute Oncology. For my Capstone, I created and presented a presentation on motivating the unmotivated patients for all therapists at MD Anderson and completed a certification for trauma patients (CCTP). The majority of my time was spent collaborating with many professionals and patients while completing a research study for a new tool, the SOCS-OTS, otherwise known as the Screen of Cancer Survivorship - Occupational Therapy Services.
