About me
Warwick and Alison Marsh have been married for over 42 years. They live in Wollongong, Australia and have five adult children and eight grandchildren.
Together they founded Dads4Kids in 2002 to help turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to alleviate the great pain of fatherlessness and bring hope, healing and love to families.
Since 1990 Warwick has worked in the not-for-profit sector and serves on a number of boards and community organisations. In 1998 Warwick received a Father of the Year Award in the State Parliament of NSW. In 2001 he received the Centenary Medal from Australia’s Governor General for his work in Aboriginal reconciliation, youth and music.
Warwick has a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and has used these skills to conduct Fatherhood Success Seminars all over the world. He has, with his wife, created the ten-week high-level fathering course called ‘Good to Great’. This course is recognized by many as the most difficult fathering course in the world and it is an advanced level Fatherhood course.
The ‘Courageous’ online Fathering Course is an intermediate level course designed for all fathers who want to take their fathering to a higher lever and be Dads who dare win for their children. Courageous features 28 Dads, sharing their tips and secrets on how to be a great Dad.
Dads4Kids has produced Father’s Day and Mother’s Day TV community service announcements for national TV in Australia since 2002 as well as numerous radio spots to encourage Dads. In 2009 Dads4Kids established the International Men’s Day website, and to this day, is the main digital promoter of positive male role models through this celebration.
Warwick Marsh is the editor-in-chief of the longest running and largest weekly fatherhood newsletter in the world. He has represented Australia and contributed at international family conferences. Warwick has appeared on national TV, radio and his work has been featured in the Daily Telegraph and the Australian newspapers. He has written articles on men and father’s issues in numerous publications and digital news outlets such as Online Opinion and Spectator.
Since establishing Dads4Kids Warwick & Alison have worked with children and families to help turn the tide of fatherlessness. They have played an active role in the development of child-friendly public policy at a federal and state level for the families of Australia.
