Vironika Wilde (aka Vironika Tugaleva) is a poet, spoken word artist, activist, workshop facilitator, and award-winning author. Her art is raw, honest, and committed to revealing tough truths about trauma, society, and the human condition. As a stage poet, she's performed in many cities, including Toronto, Vancouver, Honolulu, Portland, Sydney, and Melbourne. Her poetry book, Love and Gaslight, and her spoken word album, Too Much For You, released in 2020. Recently, Vironika has performed at the Toronto International Storytelling Festival, won third place in Room Magazine's poetry contest and received the Ontario Arts Council Literary Grant for her upcoming poetry collection, Step-Mother Tongue. Her personal growth book, The Art of Talking to Yourself, has inspired thousands of readers to trust themselves. When Vironika isn't writing, she loves getting lost, looking at the stars, singing to her kids, and eating pickles (sometimes, all at once).
