Viraj is an Independent IT Consultant with over 30 years of experience in the Technology field. He has been involved in Software Development, Software Architecture, Operations, DevOps and Teaching throughout his career. A graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and Masters from Johns Hopkins University, he has decades of experience in various programming languages (Notably C, C++, Java, Groovy, Python) and platforms like Java Platform. For the last 5 years he has been involved in Cloud Platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Cloud Foundry. 

He is also a highly passionate teacher with tens of thousands of students in more than 130 countries and is convinced about the potential of Online teaching to revolutionize learning experience for every student in every country. He feels it's one of the best ways to lift under-privileged students and give them a clear chance at upward mobility.
