Tom West has over 25 years of experience working as an athletic trainer and college professor. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Health Education/Athletic Training and PhD in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University. He attended West Virginia University for his Master of Science in Athletic Training/Physical Education. He teaches foundational courses such as Anatomy and Physiology and Exercise Physiology as well as applied courses such as Essentials of Human Movement Science and Sports Nutrition. As a licensed athletic trainer, he has knowledge in the assessment of movement and design of prevention and rehabilitation programs. He also teaches a course in the application of instructional technology in exercise and health science.
