I've spent my career at the intersection of healthcare, technology, leadership, and education—and now I share those experiences with students around the world.
For 28 years, I held leadership positions at Philips Healthcare, advancing from engineering to Vice President of Marketing. Along the way, I led major product initiatives, helped launch new businesses, and was honored with the Philips Presidential Award for creating a business unit that tripled sales in just 18 months. I later served as President of Sectra Healthcare North America, where I led a successful turnaround effort.
In parallel with my industry career, I have taught graduate-level courses in healthcare strategy, innovation, and informatics for more than 20 years at the University of New Haven and the University of Washington. My teaching has been recognized with Excellence in Teaching awards, and today my Udemy courses have reached more than 35,000 students worldwide.
I am passionate about helping students understand complex topics through practical examples, real-world experiences, and lessons learned throughout a career in healthcare technology and leadership. My goal is simple: to help you gain knowledge you can immediately apply in your career.
I hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and an MS in Engineering from the University of Florida.
