Hi, I’m Tamil Selvam, Founder and Director of Yellow Tree Academy, Coimbatore, India.

I am an Unreal Authorized Instructor and game development mentor with over two decades of experience in teaching 3D, animation, VFX, game development, and real-time production. I have been working with Unreal Engine for more than 15 years, from the early UDK days to the latest Unreal Engine workflows.

Over the years, I have trained students in Unreal Engine, game design, environment creation, materials, lighting, Blueprints, cinematics, Niagara, 3ds Max, and Substance Painter. Many of my students have built strong portfolios and entered the game industry, with several placed in leading studios including Rockstar Games.

My passion is teaching complex creative technology in a simple and practical way. I believe students learn best when they build real projects, understand the reason behind every step, and slowly develop the confidence to create their own worlds, games, and portfolio pieces.
