I am currently a doctorate of occupational therapy student at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. I have created this course as a dissemination of my doctoral capstone. I am passionate about empowering individuals in their diabetes self-management and advocating for the role of occupational therapy in diabetes. My passion stems from assisting my grandma with her diabetes.
