I have been a teacher for over 20 years, an artist for 60.  I was born on the West Coast of South Africa, and this has influenced much of my art.  I have exhibited at Alice Art Gallery, Kagiso Memorial and Recreational Centre, Mogale City Museum.  I have taught Design up to matric level and received Best Teacher in the District awards.

Currently, I have my own learning centre, where I enjoy teaching kids from ages five upwards, adding in art wherever I can. I have also started curating art exhibitions. mainly in Johannesburg, but have been asked to organise exhibitions in other cities, too.  At the moment, I am trying to find a venue in the Western Cape.

I graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1980 with a degree in English, Psychology and History. I have taught English as a First and Second Language up to matric level at various schools throughout South Africa.
