I have been a reception and customer service trainer for over 5 years and have successfully run academies in London for the Miss Reception Training Academy and The London Reception Academy. I have helped and supported people from all walks of life to master how to become a professional receptionist and how to find employment in this field. I pride myself on excellence and look to instil this within this training.
I have always been passionate about reception as this is where I started at the tender age of 15. I have been fortunate to work for some truly prestigious companies from merchant banks to media firms, advertising, marketing, insurance and telecoms to name just a few.
Reception was just the start for me as I progressed to other roles such as Personal Assistant and Manager. I opened my first recruitment agency in 2000 and spent many years recruiting receptionists for a variety of roles.
The training academies were born purely from a client asking if one of our receptionists had been on a course because she was so excellent! The light bulb went off and Miss Reception was born.
The success of Miss Reception helped launched The London Reception Academy in 2008 and we have never looked back. It has been truly remarkable to see people from all over the world come through our doors and leave transformed.
The feeling we get when someone lands their first reception role or gets promoted feels surreal every time and it's incredible to know we played a part in this.
