About me
I am a Senior Software Architect, AI Systems Consultant, and Technical Educator with more than 30 years of hands-on experience building real-world software systems across finance, ERP, POS, analytics, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled business platforms.
Over the course of my career, I have worked with European enterprise clients, startups, academic institutions, and independent businesses, helping teams stabilize critical systems, simplify complex workflows, and build production-grade applications designed for long-term reliability.
From 2010 to 2024, I worked closely with SOCS BV in Belgium as a Senior Software Developer, contributing to the Winfakt! financial and POS platform used across Belgium and the Netherlands. My work included reporting engines, analytics dashboards, workflow systems, backend development, and long-term production support. I received a direct recommendation from company leadership for my technical expertise, communication skills, and reliability.
My current focus is on AI-powered systems using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, vector databases, observability workflows, and practical LLM integrations. I am particularly interested in building AI systems that are not only functional but also stable, maintainable, and production-ready.
I have extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python, Swift, React, Next.js, Vue.js, Streamlit, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, and serverless architectures. Over the years, I have also delivered software solutions for manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, accounting, and retail businesses.
Alongside consulting and software architecture, I create technical training courses and mentor developers in practical software engineering, AI integration, and system design. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, real-world engineering practices, and honest discussions about production challenges rather than hype-driven tutorials.
I believe reliable software is built through simplicity, observability, thoughtful architecture, and practical decision-making. My goal is to help developers build skills that they can confidently apply in real production environments.
