Biography

With more than thirty-five years of experience in medicine, and bodywork I provide metaphysical consulting services for business owners and for clients. I practice and teach holistic and metaphysical bodywork and holistic living courses that include,‘ Grieving with Grace’, ‘Meditation for Stress Release’, Reiki, Pranic Healing, Crystal Healing and training for practitioners and other holistic techniques to help clients and students achieve a balanced, healthy, fulfilled life.

I am also trained in Shiatsu and Thai and other TCM techniques, though I have not used these modalities much in the last few years.

I worked as a medical assistant in the offices of an internist and a general surgeon, and as an EMT and in the Emergency Room.

Having spent many years in and around the medical practice and community, my knowledge is grounded in healing, and considers modern and ancient techniques. I began the study of integrated and alternative healing for stress release and to satisfy an interest in ancient culture and healing modalities. Over time this pursuit has led me to integrate business knowledge with a teaching and holistic practice. My business experience with process improvement and team dynamics has been invaluable to me in helping me to effectively work with other healers, with fundraisers, clients, business owners and doctors, and in delivering self actualization workshops, organizing treatment plans and managing clients. I also use business discipline in the research and analysis required to grow my teaching and workshop activities and to serve my clients and build my practice and skills.

My exposure to and knowledge of the medical community, pathology and medical practices enables me to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and other healing practitioners. I understand major and minor illnesses in some detail and have experience working with trauma patients and people under stress.
