Pasumarthy Sreekrishna is a passionate vocalist and flutist who has performed in various sabhas across India and Northern America for festivals like Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, TANA, SAMPADA, and SAPNA. He has given numerous vocal concerts and provided vocal support for arangetrams and dance performances. Sreekrishna has worked on major dance productions like "Lakshmi prabhavam", "Nowka charitham", "Bhamakalapam", "Godha kalyanam" & "Chandalika", among others. He has also accompanied renowned bharatanatyam & kuchipudi exponents such as Smt. Radha, Smt. Sasikala, Sri.Madhavapeddi murthy, Smt.Balakondala rao, Dr.Kamala Reddy, Smt. Sujatha Srinivasan.
Sreekrishna was introduced to Carnatic music by his mother, Smt. Jhansi Rani, at the tender age of five. He follows the Sripada Pinakapani Baani vocal music under the tutelage of the legendary Malladi Brothers, senior disciples of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Nedunuri Krishna Murthy. He has also learned flute from Sri J.A. Jayanth, a senior disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Sanjay Subramaniam. Sreekrishna is grateful to all his teachers, including Sri S.A Ravikiran, Flute V.K. Raman, T. Girish, and Nookala Sitamahalakshmi.
Sreekrishna is an avid performer and loves to promote Carnatic music in the USA. He graduated from Cleveland State University with an MBA and Masters degree in Computer Science. He has worked in IT within the Cleveland area for over two decades and teaches music actively to enthusiasts across several states.
