From Biology to Data Science My journey began in biology, where I initially planned to pursue an MSc in Microbiology—until a single course changed everything. A class titled Bioinformatics I introduced me to computational biology, and within two weeks, I knew this was my future. I earned an MSc in Bioinformatics, followed by graduate studies in Bioengineering & Biostatistics (Public Health).
Science, Research & Teaching I started as a bench scientist, studying bacterial growth, mutations, and viruses like HCV. But my love for data and technology led me into bioinformatics and omics research, analyzing complex biological data.
10+ Years Teaching College Science Alongside research, I spent over a decade as a college instructor, teaching Microbiology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and General Biology—helping students navigate the intersection of science and technology.
As science evolved, so did my curiosity—leading me to AI and its transformative potential.
AI & Responsible Innovation My path led me to Artificial Intelligence, where I now work across both discriminative and generative AI to solve complex problems in healthcare. As an AI Solutions Lead in biopharma, I focus on leveraging AI to drive innovation, ethical AI adoption, and real-world impact.
Innovation Beyond AI Beyond AI and biology, I’m also passionate about hydroponics—a revolutionary way to grow plants without soil. My love for sustainability and innovation fuels my work in this space, helping others explore the future of food and farming.
Join Me in Learning! Through my Udemy courses, I bring together my passions for biology, AI, and hydroponics to make complex concepts engaging, accessible, and practical. Education is the ultimate equalizer, and I believe learning should be exciting, not intimidating.
Let’s explore the future of science, AI, and innovation together.
