My name is Slava, and I’m a jaw harp teacher from Ukraine. My journey with this incredible instrument began in 2019 when the jaw harp entered my life and captured my heart. Since that moment, I’ve never been without it—the magical, resonant sounds of the jaw harp have become a constant companion in my life.
Driven by a deep desire to master this unique instrument, I enrolled in an intensive 8-month instructor course in 2021, where I learned from some of the best in the world. This transformative experience not only unlocked the full potential of the jaw harp for me but also ignited a passion for sharing this ancient musical art with others.
In 2022, I founded The Jaw Harp Way, my very own school dedicated to helping people from all walks of life discover the joy, rhythm, and expressive power of the jaw harp. My goal was simple: to create a welcoming space for beginners and advanced players alike to connect with their inner space and grow as musicians.
In 2023, I launched my first online course “Vargan Today”, designed to guide students through the first steps of the jaw harp journey — mastering the basics and exploring some of the more advanced techniques.
