I’m Sheharyar Khan, founder of CareMSO LLC, a Houston-based medical billing company with offshore operations supporting healthcare providers across the U.S. Since starting in 2010, I’ve dedicated my career to helping practices streamline their revenue cycle and maximize reimbursements. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology, which gives me a unique perspective on how EHR/EMR systems are built, operated, and optimized. This technical foundation—combined with my deep expertise in revenue cycle management—has helped me not only understand the workflows of billing systems but also the insurance algorithms that drive claim approvals. That’s why payment recovery and denial resolution have been among my greatest successes.

Over the past 12+ years, I’ve worked with practices in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Anesthesia, Nephrology, Behavioral Health, and Inpatient Billing, among others. At CareMSO, we’ve built a reputation for delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient billing solutions tailored to each specialty.

My passion extends beyond billing—I’m deeply interested in information technology and artificial intelligence, and how these innovations are reshaping healthcare operations. I enjoy bringing these insights into my teaching, making sure learners don’t just memorize codes but also understand the systems and logic behind them.

This course is my way of giving back: helping beginners build a strong foundation in medical billing, preparing them for certification, and showing them how technology and billing expertise come together to create real impact in healthcare.
