I'm Dr Shamir Rajadurai, a criminologist and the founder of Prevent Crime Now, a crime prevention consultancy. I hold a PhD in Criminology and have spent my career studying one simple question: why do people commit crime, and how can we design environments and systems that make it harder for them to succeed?

What sets my approach apart is that I don't just teach theory. I've sat across from real offenders and asked them directly how they select targets, exploit weaknesses, and think through their decisions. That perspective changes everything about how you see security, it's no longer guesswork, it's understanding your adversary.

I believe crime prevention work genuinely saves lives and that belief is what drives everything I teach. My goal with every course is simple: help you see risk the way an offender does, so you can design it out before it happens.
