I am Sefinew Misganaw, an Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity instructor with over 7 years of hands-on experience in offensive and defensive security. I have worked as an independent security analyst and malware engineer, specializing in real-world threat analysis, malware behavior, and system defense against advanced attacks.
My professional focus is rooted in understanding how modern cyber threats are designed, deployed, and evolved. Since the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, the threat landscape has changed significantly—lowering the technical barrier for attackers while increasing the scale and sophistication of modern malware, including advanced persistence mechanisms and evolving rootkits.
The courses I teach are built directly on real-world experience rather than theory alone. I emphasize practical skills, attacker mindset analysis, and defensive strategies that reflect how cyberattacks actually occur in modern environments. Many of the techniques and concepts covered go beyond conventional training, as effective ethical hacking requires continuous adaptation and a deep understanding of how threats change over time.
My objective is to equip students with practical, future-ready cybersecurity skills that align with today’s real security challenges—enabling them to analyze threats, think critically, and protect systems with confidence.
