I hold a Ph.D. degree and has two post-doctoral research experience. I am committed to contribute my knowledge and expertise for national interest by preparing /training the students with the knowledge of biotechnology and molecular biology to mitigate the demand of well-trained workforce in newly developed biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry as well as in medical field and to develop intellectual resource to carry out cutting edge research by guiding a new generation of research scholars. Involved in teaching since 2010 postgraduate courses entitled Recombinant DNA Technology and Medical Biotechnology” to the postgraduate students under Masters Program of Jadavpur University, Kolkata. The topics included gene cloning, PCR, Sequencing, gene modification, restriction modification systems, recombinant protein production in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, genetic engineering in plants  Antibiotics, epidemics, sterilization techniques, BSL, biological warfare agents.
