I am a professional consultant and educator and social worker. I have spent about 27 years in the industry since graduating in 1993 with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in India. I also have a Masters degree in Finance and some of my other professional credentials are as follows.
In my professional career, I have worked in various sectors including software development, telecommunications (OSS and services), pharmaceutical, banking and finance and others. I have work experience in three continents and have been in senior positions including executive leadership positions in reputed companies.
I have a passion for enabling fellow professionals become better at their craft. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences in topics like Project and Program Management, Agile methods, Lean and Kanban, Social and Economic impact assessment and others.
Outside of work, I love the outdoors. I am an amateur mountaineer, I love sports and I care deeply about social causes. I spend about a third of my time (often more than that) volunteering for organizations working to improve the communities that they work in, on issues ranging from water management, environment, healthcare and others.
