About me
Welcome! I'm Sancy.
Born and raised beneath the vibrant, ever-changing skies of Singapore, my journey into the fascinating world of memory did not begin as a quest for accolades or records. Instead, it was sparked by a profound curiosity—a genuine wonder about the untapped potential hidden within the human mind. From a young age, I found myself captivated by the way memories shape who we are, influence how we think, and govern the very essence of our daily lives.
This initial spark of curiosity soon grew into a passionate dedication. What started as simple fascination evolved into a lifelong mission: to unravel the mysteries of memory at its deepest core, to push the limits of what the mind can achieve, and ultimately, to empower others with the knowledge and techniques to harness their own extraordinary memory potential. I have spent years delving into scientific research, experimenting with time-tested methods, and refining practical techniques that make memorization not only possible but enjoyable and transformational.
Over the past decade and beyond, I have been privileged to teach, speak, and train individuals across continents—from classrooms and corporate boardrooms to conferences and workshops worldwide. Each experience has deepened my understanding and broadened my perspective, reaffirming my belief that memory is not a fixed trait but a skill that anyone can cultivate and master.
Today, I stand ready to share all that I have learned with you. Whether you are a student who struggles to retain vast amounts of information, a professional seeking to enhance productivity and recall, or simply someone eager to keep your mind sharp and agile, my purpose is to guide and support you on this transformative journey.
Together, we will unlock the secrets of memory, break through mental barriers, and open doors to new levels of cognitive power and confidence. Your mind holds incredible potential—let’s unleash it.
Representing Singapore at the World Memory Championships (2011)
In 2011, I had the immense honor and responsibility of representing Singapore at the World Memory Championships, held in Guangzhou, China. This event wasn’t just a competition—it was a gathering of the world’s sharpest minds. Imagine sitting in a room filled with memory athletes from around the globe, all pushing the boundaries of what the human brain is capable of.
It was there that I tested myself against the most challenging memory disciplines on the planet. Here's what I achieved:
176 abstract images memorized in 15 minutes – These were randomly generated patterns and shapes with no logical structure, requiring intense focus, visual encoding, and strategic recall.
98 words memorized in 15 minutes – A series of unrelated words, where traditional rote memory would collapse. I used creative association and visual linking techniques to create vivid, memorable mental stories.
480 digits memorized in 60 minutes – A full hour of number memorization, where concentration and stamina were as important as the method used. Every digit had to be encoded using a memory system and recalled in precise sequence.
51 names and faces memorized in 15 minutes – One of the most useful memory disciplines in the real world. I trained my brain to rapidly connect unfamiliar names to distinct facial features using creative association techniques.
460 binary digits memorized in 30 minutes – A stream of 1s and 0s, completely abstract, completely unforgiving. Here, there’s no pattern to rely on—only pure technique and discipline.
These feats weren’t based on talent or a “gifted” memory. I wasn’t born with photographic memory or any superhuman powers. I trained—intensely, strategically, and with a deep fascination for how memory works. The same techniques I used to achieve these results are the ones I will teach you.
World Record Holder for Color Memory: The Power of Visual Memory Unleashed
In 2011, I accomplished something that had never been done before:
I broke the world record for the longest color sequence ever memorized.
The task?
Memorize a sequence of 160 randomly shuffled colors—no labels, no categories, no patterns—just pure color.
The time given? 5 minutes and 20 seconds.
The result? Perfect recall. Not a single mistake.
To many people, that might sound impossible.
After all, how can someone remember that many shades—in order—with zero errors?
Here’s the truth:
It wasn’t magic. It wasn’t a photographic memory.
It was a method—a precise combination of visualization, mental association, and structured memory techniques that I had trained for over time.
This world record wasn’t just about colors.
It was about proving something much deeper:
That memory is not about talent—it’s about training.
And that anyone, regardless of background or natural ability, can unlock extraordinary memory capabilities with the right approach.
Singapore Pi Memory Record Holder: Mastering Mental Endurance and Precision
In the world of memory, few feats are as iconic—or as mentally demanding—as the memorization of the digits of pi (π). An endless, non-repeating sequence of numbers, pi represents the ultimate test of concentration, accuracy, and cognitive stamina.
In 2011, I stepped up to that challenge and made history.
Within just 30 minutes, I memorized and flawlessly recited 1,505 digits of pi—digit by digit, in perfect order—setting the Singapore record. Every number had to be exact. There were no second chances, no corrections, no room for even a single mistake.
This event wasn’t just a personal milestone. It was a powerful statement:
That the human brain, when trained with the right methods, is capable of extraordinary feats of focus and recall.
The achievement was supported by international brands like GNC and Red Bull, who recognized not only the intensity of the challenge, but also the growing importance of mental performance in today’s fast-paced world. Through their support, we brought national attention to a powerful message:
Memory is not just for record-breakers—it's a skill for everyone.
Founder of Pinnacle Minds: Over a Decade of Transforming Minds and Unlocking Human Potential

More Than a Skill—It’s My Passion: A Lifelong Love Affair with Memory
Memory for me is so much more than a skill or a competition—it’s a passion that has shaped my life and purpose.
I don’t memorize just to break records or collect trophies.
I memorize because I’m fascinated by the science behind how the brain works, enchanted by the creativity involved in turning abstract information into vivid mental images, and deeply inspired by the transformative power of memory techniques.
A Decade of Coaching, Inspiring, and Empowering
For over 10 years, I’ve dedicated myself to coaching an incredible variety of learners—students striving to excel academically, professionals aiming to boost their career performance, athletes sharpening their mental game, and lifelong learners hungry to expand their horizons.
What truly fuels me is not the external recognition, but the quiet, powerful moments when someone experiences their own breakthrough—when their eyes light up with wonder and excitement because:
“I just memorized something I never thought possible.”
Why Teaching Memory Means So Much to Me
Those moments remind me why memory training matters.
It’s not about perfect recall alone—it’s about unlocking confidence, building self-belief, and showing people that their minds are far more capable than they’ve ever imagined.
Every session I lead is a chance to open doors—doors to new ways of thinking, new learning abilities, and new possibilities.
A Journey We Take Together
When you choose to learn with me, you’re joining a journey fueled by passion, patience, and purpose.
I’m here to guide you step-by-step, to celebrate your wins, and to support you through every challenge.
Because for me, teaching memory isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.
What These Achievements Mean for You
You might be thinking: “That’s impressive—but how does this help me?”
It means you’re learning from someone who has competed at the highest level, faced extreme memory challenges, and proven that the right methods produce extraordinary results. It also means that I’ve personally tested what works, what doesn’t, and how to teach these techniques in ways that are clear, fun, and effective—regardless of your background.
These experiences have allowed me to:
Understand the science behind memory and how to apply it to real life.
Develop methods to help students memorize textbooks, professionals retain complex data, and anyone remember names, facts, and tasks.
Break down powerful memory systems into step-by-step processes that anyone can follow and apply—starting from day one.
Memory is a Skill—Not a Talent
If there's one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: Memory is a trainable skill. Just like learning to ride a bicycle or play an instrument, it can be practiced, strengthened, and mastered. I am living proof of that. And so are the thousands of people I’ve trained.
Whether you’re looking to:
Excel in school or university
Stand out in your career
Enhance your mental clarity and focus
Build more confidence in daily conversations
Or simply explore the vast potential of your mind
You’ll benefit from the same world-class techniques that helped me represent my country—and more importantly, you’ll be able to use them in practical, everyday situations.
This is just the beginning. And I'm excited to show you what your memory is truly capable of.
Let’s take the first step together.
The truth is, you don’t need to be born with a “photographic memory” to achieve extraordinary results. Memory is not some mysterious gift reserved for a select few—it is a skill that anyone can develop, refine, and ultimately master.
What you need is a proven system tailored to how your brain works, a dedicated coach who believes in your potential, and the right mindset to embrace growth and persistence.
