He is Master of Technology in Information Technology & Master of Science in Electronics and is a Faculty/Subject Matter Expert in the Executive MTech (Cloud Computing) Course of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna (India) for working professionals and takes lectures in Cloud Strategy, Planning & Management.

Sameer has a vast experience in handling large scale projects in various domains like Data Centre, IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, Cloud Computing, Strategy & Planning, Information Security, e-Governance, Digital Identity, Public Service Delivery, Knowledge Management, Management of Information Storage & Retrieval Systems, Data Analytics, Telecommunication, etc.

He has worked with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) during its formative years in the role of Deputy Director (Technology) – Operations & Administration and was instrumental in the set-up of Aadhaar Data Centre of UIDAI in Manesar, Gurugram (India) and has managed the Operation & Maintenance of the Aadhaar Data Centre for 7 years in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Currently, Sameer is engaged as the Chief Operating Officer of an India based Cloud Company driving the establishment of Data Centre Parks and strategizing the role out of the it's Public Cloud Services thereby contributing to the business prospects of the company.

Previously, Sameer was part of PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt. Ltd. (PwC) where he served as an Associate Director of the Responsible Development Services (RDS) practice of the company and was instrumental in providing advisory to various government & corporate organizations in Technology Strategy and Project Planning & Management.

Sameer is a continuous learner and has keen interest in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AR/VR, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Big Data, Data Analytics, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain etc.
