Functional Fitness Training Expert and Ex-Military Officer
Sam spent almost 10 years serving as a military officer, leading teams in some of the world's toughest environments.
He has always believed that personal fitness, of both mind and body, sits at the core of success. This was proven during long military deployments overseas when he and his team would need to stay fit, healthy, and ready to take on whatever task they were given - all without luxuries like air-conditioned gyms, or workout equipment.
Through the use of bodyweight exercise programs and careful workout planning, Sam kept his teams healthy, super-fit, and mentally focussed. He became an expert in remaining in shape in harsh conditions and in motivating his teams to do the same.
Since leaving the military, Sam has continued to provide expertise on safety and security, advising large organizations with high-risk exposure.
As always, Sam teaches that solid foundations in physical and mental fitness are essential to the success of a task and the welfare of individuals.
Staying in shape without access to gyms or equipment continues to be a core part of his teaching.
