Songwriter, Producer, and Multi-Instrumentalist - Sam Dawson has been working in the music industry for over a decade.
After studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2015 and receiving a first class honors degree in Professional Guitar Performance, Sam has written and performed songs released by international artists around the world and received 100,000s of streams online. Artists include Filippin (Milleville records), DigtalTek (Bass Rebels), Ivan Laine (SoundOfNow), as well as numerous independent artists. Sam's music has twice won the Songwriter Universe 'Best Song' competition, as well as the Lost Songs contest held by the acclaimed Metropolis Studios in London.
In 2019, Sam launched Song101, a project aimed at aspiring songwriters to improve their writing. Since then, the project has grown, with thousands of people watching every month to learn about song structure, lyric and melody writing, production, and many other topics. The following year, Sam also launched his own musical project as an artist under the name of Sam Turner. The debut single, 'The Little Things In Life', was released in October 2020, and has received local, national, and international airplay on the BBC and numerous other stations.
