Rupert has taught English for 24 years, including 14 years at university level in the UK. Between 2020 and 2022, he was Head of all English Language programmes at the University of Portsmouth. His qualifications include the Cambridge DELTA and MA in Applied Linguistics and TEFL (Distinction), and he is a Fellow of the HEA. He has presented at conferences around the world, and has published research on learning languages online.
