Dr. Ruma Chakravarty is a curious soul who is ready to experiment with anything, anytime. She is fascinated by the fact that "brain rewires" every moment. And that is what she tries to facilitate through Coaching, Training, Speaking and Music Therapy. She has worked for over 20 years with reputed companies at senior levels and as consultant in diverse functions. In 2017, she established Factorize, a company dedicated to Reflective Leadership Executive Coaching & Training, Indian Music Therapy and Research & Publishing.

Dr. Ruma holds a PhD in multidisciplinary subjects of Biophysics and Indian Music Application. She is a trained Musician (Hindustani Classical vocal) from Bhatkhande Vidyapeeth, Lucknow. Dr. Ruma is a practicing Indian Music Therapist, Trainer and Researcher for over past 18 years. Ruma is working with diverse groups of people for their needs. She has trained over 500 people in Indian Music Therapy approaches.

She is a Certified Elsevier Peer Reviewer. Ruma is professionally trained in surveying and high end research and analytics methodologies. She was trained in Intelligent Leadership Executive Coaching by John Mattone (World's #1 Coaching Authority - 2019 and 2020). She is a Richard Bandler Certified Licensed NLP Practitioner, holds Six Sigma Green Belt and Medical Neuroscience certification from Duke University.

Ruma handles both her professions - Leadership Executive Coaching and Music Therapy with equal passion. Ruma is being speaking at many events, conferences & seminars to propagate conscious awareness about Reflective Leadership Executive Coaching and Indian Music Therapy.

She has published her first book with two Volumes "Music Therapy with Indian Music (Essentials & Sources) - Volume 1" in December 2019 and Volume 2 in December 2023. Her second book as a co-author titled "Community Perspectives on Education, Health & Livelihoods in Talla Ramgarh, Uttarakhand" was launched in August 2021.
