Dr. Ruby A. Daniels has over 25 years' experience teaching academic and scholarly writing to college students and faculty members at multiple universities.
After developing and testing the lessons in the APA Survival Guide, Dr. Daniels presented her findings at the 29th Annual Conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists in May 2014.
She has held a variety of leadership positions higher education. She holds a doctoral degree in marketing communication from the University of Connecticut, a master's degree in speech from the University of Houston, and a bachelor's degree in journalism from Texas A&M University.
In addition to peer reviewing several scholarly journals, Dr. Daniels regularly publishes in the areas of healthcare, communication, marketing, and research. Her articles have been featured in the Journal of Nursing Management, Journal of Behavioral Medicine, Journal of Leadership Studies, Health Marketing Quarterly, Health Communication, and Journal of Professional Services Marketing.
