What is the cause of success? That is what I have been pursuing my entire life.

I started in my teens. I read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I didn't really understand the importance of the book until I was in my 40's. By then I had an MBA, had worked for three years at IBM, completed a Doctor of Chiropractic, and built a successful practice.

Then late one night in my office I had a gut punch moment. I was walking from my x-ray room to my office and had the thought - What if everything I know is wrong?"

I stopped right there. I felt disoriented. I had a lot of education. If everything is wrong, where do I start? The answer came immediately - Universal Intelligence.

Then came a shift. I was invited to see a person who introduced me to my spirit guides. I found the experience to be quite emotional. I was told I would meet someone who would become my partner.

I met Carolyn Jackson. She convinced me that she was telepathic. We began studying the powers of the mind.

Vernon Howard taught me how to control my mind. I still remember practicing one day while mowing my yard. I was upset with my wife. I would get control of my mind and within two or three steps I was again upset with my wife. I got control again. I took a few steps and was back to being upset with my wife. I got control again. I took a few steps and was back to being upset with my wife. I began laughing. Getting control of my mind was crazy difficult. I was no longer upset.

I focused on getting control of my mind. My business fell apart. I was facing bankruptcy. Through it all I found comfort - by controlling my mind.

I began teaching Reiki classes with Carolyn. I loved the insights I received during the classes. She and I also took courses and got our real estate licenses to help our sons in the construction business.

Then I went back to chiropractic practice. I bought a practice that was seeing 25 patients a day and within a few months we were seeing 50. Although I had more money, I wasn't happier. I realized that I would rather teach than practice.

My wife and I have four children. My third oldest, Matt, gave me In Search of Schrodinger's Cat by John Gribbin. Is the universe determined? Gribbin said that was the question physicists have been ducking since Newton. Determined means the future could be predicted. There are no choices.

Newton's first law is inertia. A body at rest remains at rest and a body in motion remains in motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an outside force. Neurons in the brain move to form new connections. Where does the force come from to cause the movement? Chiropractic philosophy states that the force comes from Innate Intelligence. Innate is our individualized portion of Universal Intelligence.

We can allow our brains to run without active control. It is just like allowing a computer to run. We can take control of our brains. When we take control, we are being Innate Intelligence - part of Universal Intelligence, our Creator. That is what Napoleon Hill meant.

What I teach is that we have programs in our brain that are incorrect. They are malware. They hold us back. We are missing other programs that could really help us be successful. Think about how much more you get done once you download the right app. I help you get control, correct or delete the malware, and give you the programs you need.

Even more than that. I teach you to be connected to the Source. You can ask questions and have the answers show up in your life.
