I am Legal Consultant and Trainer and am actively engaged in conducting POSH Training and Workshops. As an Expert Member I have trained over 15,000 employees at ministries, banking, corporate, educational and public sector organizations on implementing POSH Act through their Internal Committees.

As a representative of leading National Women’s Organizations in India, I had the privilege of being part of the Drafting Committee for the landmark Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. In this capacity, I actively contributed to discussions and recommendations that helped shape India’s legal framework for prevention of workplace sexual harassment and protection of women’s rights at work.

I was also invited to present my insights and recommendations on the proposed legislation before the Parliamentary Committee of the Government of India during the consultative process leading to the enactment of the POSH Act. This experience provided me with a unique opportunity to engage directly in the evolution of one of India’s most significant workplace protection laws.

Additionally as the former CEO of YWCA of India, I have worked extensively on women’s rights and dignity in the workplace. Developing policies and training frameworks, along with providing resources and support on workplace harassment and women’s rights, has been a key part of my professional work. My efforts have consistently focused not only on legal compliance but also on building respectful, ethical, and gender-sensitive workplace environments.

I possess a bachelor’s degree in law wherein I secured the Gold Medal besides holding a master’s degree in English literature and various certifications in Women Empowerment and other subjects. With a combination of academic qualification and practical knowledge gained through years of experience, I can provide effective training sessions backed by sound legal knowledge and high-level interest.

At present, I am serving as Adviser to YWCA of India and as Faculty Member with Labour Law Reporter, as also as an Expert Member, POSH Trainer, and mentor of Internal Committees.Through my work, I remain committed to helping organizations create workplaces where dignity, equality, and safety are not merely policies, but everyday practice
