He is the published author and creator of the “Mortgage 101 Boot Camp©”, the NMLS exam prep training curriculum, "Maximizing Your Success - 16 Tips & Strategies to Successfully Navigate the NMLS Exam's Tricky Nature,” and the popular home buyer book and guide, “Insider Basics for the First-Time Home Buyer!.©”

Prior to becoming a high-numbers mortgage producer with M&T Mortgage Corporation (two-year consecutive Chairman’s Club inductee) and Wachovia Mortgage Corporation, Rich’s 30-year mortgage industry tenure concentrated on Mortgage Customer Service and Research. In 2006, he began creating and instructing real estate courses, eventually instructing NMLS pre-licensing and continuing education in addition to general mortgage training. Rich is a contributing author to the Scotsman Guide and a former instructor and subject matter expert (SME) for Fannie Mae and ICE Mortgage Technology (f/k/a AllRegs).

Rich is an alumnus of the State University of New York at Buffalo having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication along with a Certificate in Public Relations and Advertising. He currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina.
