Rachael Herron is the internationally bestselling author of the novel Pack Up the Moon, the five book Cypress Hollow romance series, and the memoir, A Life in Stitches. Her next mainstream standalone novel, Splinters of Light, will be out in March 2015 from Penguin. Her blog gets more than a million readers a year, and her favorite thing to do is share her love of writing with others in a usable, accessible, and most importantly, fun way.
Her work has been published in seven countries and translated into four languages. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Mills College, California. She’s wanted to be an author since she was five, but until she got serious in 2006 (using National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and the techniques taught in this course), she’d never finished a book before. Now that she knows how to, her favorite thing is writing The End as often as possible.
