Michael Gold is the Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Beth Torah Sha'aray Tzedek in Tamarac, FL and is currently the Rabbi of Temple Beth Shalom in Boca Raton, FL.   He is also a professor of philosophy, ethics, and religion at Broward and Miami-Dade Colleges in Florida and Charter Oak College in Connecticut..  He developed courses for all three colleges. in religion and ethics.  Michael Gold received his PhD from Florida Atlantic University with a dissertation of process philosophy and Jewish mysticism.  He is the author of eight books, the most recent entitled Does the Universe Have a Soul?
