Dr. Howard Kassinove

Professor Kassinove, a licensed psychologist, is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology, and in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology.   After earning his PhD from Adelphi University's Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, he served as professor and Director of Hofstra University's Institute for the Study and Treatment of Anger and Aggression. 

In addition to 30 years of private service to families and adults, he served as a clinical psychologist for 12 years at the Southeast Nassau Community Guidance Center.

Dr. Kassinove is committed to helping adults and families improve child and family functioning.

He is the author of five books and 75 professional papers, and has been an invited lecturer on anger and aggression in the United States as well as in Argentina, India, South Korea, Romania, Russia, and Taiwan.
