I began my procurement career in 1992, starting in entry-level roles and working my way up through the profession. By 2001, despite almost a decade of hands-on experience, I found it difficult to progress into management. That challenge motivated me to begin my CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification, a decision that transformed my career and opened the door to senior leadership opportunities.
In 2016, I moved into teaching and became a CIPS lecturer, supported by an experienced mentor who helped shape my development as an educator. The following year, I completed a Master’s in Teaching and Academic Practice, formalising my commitment to high-quality professional learning.
Today, my mission is simple:
To support the global CIPS student community in achieving their qualifications and building confidence in procurement.
Your feedback helps me continually improve my practice tests and courses, so I genuinely welcome your comments and suggestions. Thank you for choosing to learn with me, and for being part of the Procurement Study Buddy community.
