Plato Pathrose holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He began his career as a Design and Development Engineer, contributing to safety-critical systems in the automotive and avionics sectors. Over the years, he has led numerous engineering teams, overseeing projects across various phases of the product lifecycle.
His professional journey spans two decades with multiple levels of the automotive industry, from Vehicle manufacturers to Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, providing him with deep insights into emerging technologies, development processes, and evolving business models. As a consultant, he has worked with a diverse range of organizations, including government bodies, supporting the design and development of safety-critical systems for autonomous driving and shaping concepts and requirements for Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs) and their integration with infrastructure and public deployment.
Plato is the founder of PTS Creative, a consulting and technology services firm based in Germany, and a techno-strategic advisor to organizations in the new mobility area, particularly in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Automated Driving, Digitalization, and Software Defined Vehicles. Beyond his technical expertise, he is a specialist in processes and methodologies, a certified Lean Six Sigma expert, and a practitioner of TRIZ innovation methodologies.
