Petrus Lakonawa graduated from Driyarkara School of Philosophy, Jakarta, and had further studies in philosophy and theology at Maryhill School of Theology, Manila, Philippines and continued his theological studies in feminist liberation theology at Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Bethel Indonesia in Jakarta. Currently, he is undergoing Ph.D. studies at St. Vincent School of Theology, Adamson University, Manila Philippines.
