Pedro graduated as an electrical engineer, worked a few years in power electronics development and electrical installations and now for more than 10 years is working with EV (Electric Vehicle) charging.

As a Service Engineer in the early days of Tesla, Pedro was one of the few engineers in the company dedicated to field testing, diagnostics, service procedures and helping to overcome the hurdles with charging with Europe’s variety of electric grid configurations with the whole range of Tesla products and components from the chargers to the cars.

Later, Pedro joined EVBox - a global charging station manufacturer and became the manager of Diagnostics Engineering. Working on the infrastructure side of EV charging provided a more in depth learning of this side of the technology and business, with a wider understanding of products and standards that are designed for interoperability.

Pedro has always been passionate about sharing knowledge and has been able to do so, partially in previous positions. Pedro is now dedicated to training and developing equipment to help with training, such as charging stations, EV charging simulators and equipment to test EV charging.

With the knowledge and passion for EV charging technology and knowledge sharing, Pedro is confident to become a valuable instructor.
