I grew up in the Netherlands and have been traveling for most of my adult life. I studied art history in Salamanca, Spain, wrote reports for the Dutch Embassy in Santiago de Chile and studied Chinese in China. In between, I have been working as a tour guide. For many years I lived in Rome, Italy and guided groups of all backgrounds through the city. I have been a guide in the Vatican Museums, Saint Peter's and the Galleria Borghese, but I also loves to show groups around Sicily or Tuscany.

In the last few years I have been running a successful walking tour business in Lyon, France.
