Welcome to this series on photography, which is based on my 35 years in the creative industry, starting at school (A level Design), then with a City & Guilds (now BTEC), before working in a Chelsea fashion studio as an assistant and progressing onto full commercial photography.
Over the years I have worked with Audi, BT, Burton, Conde Nast, Debenhams, Financial Times, Government of Thailand, Kodak, Marks & Spencer, NatWest, Oracle, Pearson, Sony, Surrey Satellite Technology and Unilever, to name just a few!
I hope this series provides you with a great understanding of photography, which I have found useful when progressing into film and video as both a cameraman and director.
Such is the enjoyment I have derived from a career in the creative world, as a well-paid hobby, not a job, which has given me numerous opportunities for the greater understanding of humanity and the wider world.
