I am a qualified actuary through both the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Actuarial Society of South Africa. I am also a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary, or CERA.

I have worked in the insurance industry for more than ten years and am passionate in helping aspiring actuaries understand the real life, practical work we do on a day-to-day basis - the stuff you don't learn in your actuarial studies!
